DIRTY REVOLUTION play a fierce brand of Roots Rock Reggae tinged with Ska, Dub, Drum and Bass, Calypso and Soul.

After taking a year out from the road the Cardiff based group return with their second studio album 'The Heat' just in time for summer.

The band took a year out to write their with the sophomore album ‘The Heat’. adopting two new members along the way: Leone, providing live dub effects and keyboards and new guitarist Tom.

After working with Peter Miles (King Blues, SB6, Random hand, The Skints) for the debut album ‘Before The Fire’ they decided to again work with him and his engineer James Bragg recording the
entire album at Middle Farm Studios.

This album solidifies and continues on from many of the musical themes present on their debut album “Before the Fire'. The songwriting and messages are elegant and a natural progression from the first album with an emphasis still on keeping people moving. The band have already put up a few tracks on for you to listen to.

Advanced Pre-Orders of the CD's will be available from and will be accompanied with a free signed poster of the album artwork.

'The Heat” will be released on May 19th as a CD from their website or any of their shows. It will also be available to stream/ download from many stores such as iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and Amazon.

Dirty Revolution are back in full force having already played a headline show in London earlier this year. The new album has been well received with support from Mike Davies with the track 'Down Low' being played on his Lock Up show on Radio1.
